Green tea powder

Here it is! My secret is about homemade facial masks from green tea and of course, additional ingredients that are necessarily blended with. I’m sure it’s simple and affordable. Undoubtedly, tea leaves have been precedently notified how it’s beneficial in distinctive ways to our lives. Then, in detail, how is it beneficial to our skin? you girls might have known this already thought; but for sure, I’ll still want to make this clear.

1. What You Need

  • 1 egg white
  • 2 to 3 teaspoon green tea powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey

2. How to Make Green Tea Face Mask for Sensitive Acne-Prone Skin

  1. Add 2 to 3 green tea powder teaspoons to a small bowl.

Green tea face mask

It’s extremely easy to make, sweeties. To enhance the face mask efficiency, I would like to add 1 egg white with 2-3 teaspoons of green tea powder. Stirring until the liquid is totally blended. Just be careful, don’t let the mixture be too clumping or too liquid. Then, it’s really awesome to put it into the bridge for about 5 minutes to get cooler for soothing the tired skin and tightening skin pores.

3. How It Works

Currently, the Cosmetics industry has taken account of green tea extract as an important organic resource to its’ production. one small leaf can hold naturally a great number of enzymes, amino acids, manganese, potassium, magnesium, B vitamins, folate, potassium, caffeine and especially antioxidants all. These elements together vitalize the skin, like improving skin elasticity, brightening skin tone and dampening free radicals. For advanced care, it helps to remove excess sebum and diminish the severity of breakouts as well as acne breeding. The wonderful is it’s gonna work quite well for most skin types, even the sensitive ones.

Egg white face mask

The egg white is really amazing for nourishing your skin. It contains a big amount of protein, essential vitamins and minerals. It results in a whitening effect, firmer skin texture and reducing acne scars.

After cleansing your face daily, gently apply to your face within 10 – 15 minutes and then, rinsing immediately, my dear. Because of weak texture, that time length is enough to absorb an adequate amount of nutrition. Don’t let your skin have to take it for too long. If not, it’s gonna get red and dehydrated. Otherwise, skin types like combination or oily can take up to 20 or 30 minutes. It’s really awesome to apply the green tea face mask 3 times a week. Patiently, It might take more than 2 months that you could notice an improvement in your skin complexion.

It’s extremely important to apply your emollient cream after using the mask in order to hydrate your skin and additionally, provide a smooth sensation.

Usually, many girls tend to add a little honey into the mask for killing nasty bacteria that creep into skin pores as well as get rid of dark spots. However, for “delicate” girls, you should avoid letting your skin interact with honey so frequently. I might recommend adding about a half teaspoon of honey once or twice a week would be great for your skin. If not, your skin might get irritated and itchy.

I hope you would try it and see how it works on your skin. If you did try it, please let me know how you feel; but if you have another suggestion, please share with us to add more ideas to our skincare routine. Thank you so much for your support!

    • Dear Vanashree,

With green tea, the mask helps get rid of excess sebum, tighten large pores, brighten up skin tone and lightly exfoliate dead skin cells. You have a type of sensitive and acne prone. Make sure that the egg white is organically produced to guarantee that it’s clean and high quality. Because the egg white is animal-derived, it may contain bacteria and salmonella that can cause allergies and irritation to your skin. Moreover, be sure that your body will not get allergic reaction to the egg white. You should use it once a week. Thank you so much for being open with me! I hope you will have a good experience with the face mask.

  1. The moment I saw this post I wanted to try this mask. But I am vegetarian and don’t eat egg. Is there another option for egg? Is it okay if I use green tea, rose water and honey instead? :-)

    • Of course, you can use other ingredients outside eggs. My mom usually mixes green tea with a bit water and 2 teaspoons of honey. I think rose water is also an excellent option. More importantly, I’m really happy that the post is helpful and pleasant somehow to you. Thank you so much for being open with me! ?
