Review Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Get It

Lipsticks are meant to unquestionably keep our pout stunning with countless colors and formulas. The cosmetic industry creates a blessing heaven beyond the world. Apparently, not all can work out for the best.

I’ve fallen for Tarte since getting along with its’ two dreamy, enchanting goodies. Don’t be hesitate to roam shortly around my reviews of the Make Believe in Yourself and Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint. Gotta say I’m literally impressed how amazing and splendid they’re to do wonders for our glamour. So intrigued and take one more chance to see what’s gonna happen next if I randomly pick something that was one of the most talked about on the social media late last year.

Sadly, this time seems not to be a happy ending like I had before; quite disappointed actually and confused at the same time. I intend to walk us through my review of Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Get It.

1. About the Product

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Get It Featured

The company releases a product line of Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint with 26 shades at the moment. Their formulation tend to be transfer-resistant, dry down promptly and provide full coverage. Sound interesting, right! There is no way to worry your lipstick’s color annoyingly leaves stains onto your stuff or while making out. Very lightweight and promise not to cause dryness or cracks upon lips.

Deliver high definition with an effective, flat applicator to shape your lips correctly. Moreover, infused with a great concentration of mineral pigmentation (Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide) for soothing and nourishing effects. Colorants are mostly synthetic and more likely to stem from coal tar and petroleum. Likewise, the product contains a bunch of organic and chemical compounds as conditioning and viscosity reducing agents as well as preservatives.

The lip paints are dermatologist tested and free from parabens, gluten, phthalates, mineral oil and sodium lauryl sulfates.

2. My thoughts

The shade I got here is apricot nude, a light to medium peach giving warm undertones. It’s inclined to deliver a full coverage in 1-2 coats with a matte, opaque finish. Everything seems fine, otherwise I don’t find myself super excited or jumping out of my seat to shout triumphantly “this is so cool!” Differ to the creamy one of my earlier review, the Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint is fairly watery; but, absolutely not runny.

Inside Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Get It

At the first time of using, I totally loathed the product. It’s hard to work solely for a clean, neat look. I were kinda suck at it, the lip paint left stains onto my teeth. For liquid lipstick beginners, you may take time to learn applying it perfectly. Necessarily grab your lip pencil to decide centres of the lips as well as map out your shape. That makes sure the lipstick is meant to be set in place symmetrically. When doing coats, start with the bottom lip from the corner and move toward the middle. Then, work with the upper lip by defining the cupid’s bow at first and gradually filling in.

Avoid closing or pressing your lips together too soon before it’s drying down completely. Trust me! You won’t like it at all. The lipstick is gonna be very blotchy and uneven, like losing somehow and spreading unequally. I hate this part at most. It’s not easy to love the product tho. It indeed dries down instantly in a few seconds, you don’t need to blot away the clumps or residuals. However, just let the upper and lower parts dry separately.

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Get It tested on my hand

As Advocates of how to put liquid lipstick on flawlessly, chief of which is importantly exfoliating and moisturizing your lips prior to wearing the Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint. This will be extremely simple, dollies! You just need to coat all over your lips with a sufficient amount of lip balm. Next, take a toothbrush to massage in circular motion for a while. That tends to slough off dry, flaky cells, whilst boosting hydration and eventually, result in a smooth, plump lips. After that, wipe away all of dead skins, so you can touch up with a bit lip moisturizer.

I did try applying the product without peeling and hydrating my lips. It looked really terrible. The lipstick initially seemed gliding onto lips; but, it accentuated multiple fine lines and cracks afterward. My pout was dull and felt horribly dry I can tell. In addition, it was unpleasantly chapped at the end of day. The description claims the product has a soothing and nourishing property. Uh, oh! Sorry, I gotta decline this.

Get It may not work for me. I haven’t picked proper words to tell you precisely my feelings. I really hope something that’s able to brighten me up; makes my face look livelier and less walking dead. My skin is often pale and fatigued, especially in cool weathers. To be fair, I should have taken a lighter shade, like rosy pink or red. The peachy nude may be more suitable and flattering for medium to dark skin tone. That would rather be vibrant and outstanding.

About Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Get It

I think you can utterly nail it with one to two coats. That is enough. The lipstick isn’t very buildable, getting many extra layers on top makes my lips find uncomfortably lingering; but also have subtle, unnatural streaks and patchy texture.

Furthermore, the product gives a good pigment; otherwise, a sort of poor color saturation. After exposing outdoor for long time, the shade is desaturated, slowly toned down and turns out being visibly dull. This time literally let me down, I’m very disgruntled.

The Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint is pretty long-lasting for 5-6 hours, primer is must-go for the liquid lipstick longevity. It’s really transfer-proof, doesn’t cause kiss marks onto my stuff. I love that; but, eating and drinking make it fade away little by little, which begins from the middles. Then, it mostly comes off and leaves lipstick lines onto the edges of my lips.

3. Packaging

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Get It Packaging

The Creamy and Quick Dry Matte Lip Paints seem to have alike packaging design. I used to be mistaken between those two. The liquid lipstick comes into a small, handy container with black top and golden, iridescent letters, “Tarte Tarteist lip paint.” Otherwise, the Quick Dry is slightly taller than the Creamy and has a golden ring which borders the head of container. The lipstick doesn’t spill around regardless of positions. Plus, The product’s applicator is slender and longer with a smaller sponge, compared to the Creamy one.

4. Rating 7/10

Rating 7/10

I think the Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint is ok; but, it’s not really special or dazzling to me, like “I want to have it whatever it takes.” Well, of course, this is just my very personal thoughts about the product. It didn’t work for me, which doesn’t mean it won’t for you. Feel free to try it, you can check its’ price down below. I give it 7 out of 10.
