Review: The Face Shop – Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Water

Cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing is simply the most fundamental steps of the skincare regimen. They’re important one by one to dedicate a healthy and beautiful skin goal. Besides, your diets, lifestyles and sleeping habits also take a great concern. Let’s get a first move on how to choose a proper cleanser for your skin type. I gotta say it decides an effective launch for the remaining steps.

This time I’m gonna mention one of my babies for cleansing routines, The Face Shop Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Water. I won’t say this is optimal; it’s just optional because, with it, there is no guarantee for 100% removing all of the unneeded things upon the skin textures. But, it’s beneficial somehow for facial purifying ideas.

As you can see in its name, the product has a natural formula, ingredients from Chia seed extract. This means watery and mineral provision while gently cleansing all skin types. I’m gonna dig it up!

The Face Shop - Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Water

How far can the cleanser reach?

The cleanser can work quite well in getting rid of dust, dirt and sunblock or sunscreen on my face. However, it’s really not ideal for resolving clogged pores, discarding dead skin cells and completely dissolving makeup layers, even the most lightweight, like cushion or foundation.

Is it really a no-rinse facial cleanser as it said?

I’m not sure about this; but personally, I don’t think it’s the right decision to keep it on your face all time without rinsing. To me, I use the cleansing gel or foam additionally to have a deeper cleaning into the skin pores and then, wash off by plain water. It’s really necessary to have purified facial skin before moving on with toner and moisturizer.

Is it really a calming and water embedded cleanser?

The liquid somehow brings a kind of rash and irritation appearance upon my face, especially areas around the eyes. I don’t know whether other skin types have the same situation as using it or only the sensitive has, like me. By the way, it’s not really feeling watery after the application. So confused about the product description!

The packaging is extremely simple. The cleansing water is contained in a plastic bottle, which is designed how to easily extract the liquid by pumping directly into cotton pads.
